Syngas & Biofuels

Frontline BioEnergy gasification systems have the scalability for biofuels operation making syngas.  Syngas is produced by utilizing steam and oxygen instead of air in the gasification process – producing a very low nitrogen gas that is suitable for various reforming and fermentation processes.  This process creates a great platform for many transportation fuels such as diesel, avgas, jet fuel, methanol, ethanol, biobutanol, and others, via Fischer-Tropch synthesis, syngas fermentation, or other catalytic methods.
