Frontline Gasifier Features

Technical features that support effective and scalable operations:

• Bubbling fluid bed
  Allows for fuel flexibility when processing different types of biomass feedstocks like slash, corn cobs, straw, grasses, and which may contain foreign material.  The large heat sink, good mixing, and high heat transfer rates characteristic of bubbling fluidized beds provide very stable and uniform operating temperatures even at large scales.
   
• Operation at pressure
  Results in greater throughput as a single unit, allowing for the addition of shop-built components even for large scale designs.  Benefits biomass-to-liquids by eliminating first stage compression.
   
• Gas conditioning
  The novel “dry scrubbing” removes more than 99.99% of particulates plus 1 µ - including chlorides and volatile alkali.  This cycle also protects downstream boilers and catalysts, and reduces emissions. 

• Upgradeable for Syngas production
  Process is easily scalable to Syngas production by adding an oxygen or steam injection system.
