T. J. Paskach, Ph.D.
Director of Technology
Education: Dr. Paskach received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University in 2002. He received the Chemical Engineering Department's Research Excellence Award in 2002 and the Professional Progress in Engineering Award in 2005 from Iowa State University.
Role at Frontline BioEnergy: Dr. Paskach heads up Frontline's technolgoy development and commercialization efforts in fluidization engineering, catalyst development, reactor design, and process engineering.
Experience: Before joining Frontline Bioenergy, Dr. Paskach worked for UOP, Inc., a petrochemical and refining technology company based in Des Plaines, IL. Assignments at UOP included catalyst development, process development, field services, and software development for UOP training simulators. His experiences focused on isomerization and hydroprocessing, including the role of chief technical advisor for the first hydrocracking unit in India at Mangalore Refining and Petrochemicals Ltd. Dr. Paskach received the UOP Presidential Award in 1996 for his work on the UOP Hydrocracking Performance Team.
